Rewrite text with AI

Use the Rewrite with Ai feature to rewrite, refine, and improve your content directly within the editor.

This guide explains how to use the Rewrite with AI feature to improve, refine, and adapt text directly within the Editor. Whether you want to shorten a message, expand it with more detail, or make it more engaging, AI can help you revise your content without interrupting your workflow.

1. Select the Text You Want to Improve

Open your project in the Editor and select the text element you’d like to modify.

Once selected, an AI icon will appear next to the text, indicating that AI-powered actions are available for that element.

Hovering over the icon displays a tooltip explaining that the selected text can be rewritten, improved, or modified using AI.


2. Open the Rewrite with AI Panel

Click the AI icon to open the Rewrite with AI panel in the right sidebar.

This panel only appears after activating the feature from the selected text element.


3. Tell the AI What to Change

At the top of the panel, you’ll find the “What should AI do with it?” field.

Use this space to describe how you’d like the text to be improved. For example, you can ask the AI to:

  • Adapt the text to a different audience
  • Clarify the message
  • Adjust the tone of voice
  • Make the wording more engaging
  • Improve readability

The more specific your instructions, the more tailored the result will be.


4. Use Quick Actions

If you don’t want to enter custom instructions, you can use the built-in quick actions.

Available options include:

  • Shorten – Create a more concise version
  • Make longer – Expand the content with additional detail
  • Simplify – Improve clarity and readability
  • More compelling – Make the message more persuasive and engaging

These actions provide a quick way to refine your content with a single click.


5. Generate an Alternative Version

Once you’ve entered your instructions or selected a quick action, click Generate.

The system will process your request and create an alternative version of the selected text.

When the result is ready, it will appear in the AI Suggestion section below.


6. Apply or Discard the Suggestion

Review the generated suggestion and decide whether you’d like to use it.

  • Click Replace text to apply the AI-generated version to your material.
  • Click Cancel to keep the original text unchanged.
 

7. Continue Editing

After completing the process, the Rewrite with AI panel closes automatically and the standard editing controls return to the right sidebar.

If you’d like to revise the text again, simply select the text element and click the AI icon to start a new rewrite.
